About Cliff Jones RV in Sealy, TX

In 1978, Cliff Jones purchased the Fat Jo's Chevrolet franchise and renamed it Cliff Jones, Inc. He successfully ran the dealership for decades, despite downturns in the economy. In 1996, Cliff Jones, Inc. entered into the RV business. While vigorously searching for the right candidate to expand his RV business, Cliff hired Jim Pursley in 1999. During this time, the dealership was only a single location. Under Jim's direction, Cliff Jones, Inc. quickly expanded to three total locations: Sealy, Katy, and Houston. Shortly after this growth, the dealership won several awards, including the Circle of Excellence from Fleetwood Manufacturing, as well as becoming the number one dealer within a seven state region for Fleetwood Prowler travel trailers. After continual success during these years, Jim decided to leave Cliff Jones, Inc. to explore new horizons in the corporate world.

Throughout this time, we have expanded our product line with Mahindra tractors and Gravely zero turn mowers. We have also developed a very loyal customer base and invite you to join us! In addition to this, we have received numerous awards from various recreational vehicle manufacturers for outstanding sales, service, and dedication to our customers. In 2014, Cliff decided he wanted to retire and began the process of entering into a buy-sell agreement with Jim. After accepting the opportunity to return to Cliff Jones, Inc. as a Managing Partner in 2014, Cliff gave Jim control over the dealership on January 1st, 2015. Through constant growth, the dealership was able to bring Jim's goal of becoming the number one Mahindra location in North America to fruition, become a Texas Top 35 RV Dealer, and become a Platinum Level Cherokee Dealer. In order to properly handle our exponential growth, our staff has grown from eleven in 2014 to twenty nine in 2021.
